What we collect, why, and who we share it with
This Privacy Policy is issued by K S shree kamesh, which operates the marketplace ShopLove and is the data fiduciary responsible for the personal data described below. It explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
We never store your card details
Card numbers, CVV and UPI PINs are entered directly on the payment gateway's PCI-DSS compliant page and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We receive only a transaction reference and a success or failure result.
1 Information We Collect
a. Information you give us
- Account: name, mobile number, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash)
- Delivery: full postal address, pincode, city, state and an alternate contact number
- Orders: items purchased, quantities, order value, chosen payment method
- Returns and refunds: reason for return, photographs you upload, and bank account details where a refund cannot be sent back to the original instrument
- Support: the content of tickets, emails and chats you send us
- Sellers only: business name, GSTIN, PAN, pickup address and settlement bank details
b. Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type and version, operating system and device identifiers
- Pages viewed, products browsed, time spent and the referring page
- Session cookies used to keep you logged in and to hold your cart
- Approximate location derived from your IP address or pincode, used to check delivery serviceability
c. Information we do not collect
- Full card numbers, CVV, card PIN or UPI PIN
- Net banking usernames or passwords
- Biometric data
2 Why We Collect It

Marketing messages are the only use that depends on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time. Every other use above is necessary to provide the service you asked for or to meet a legal obligation, so we cannot process your order without it.
3 Who We Share It With
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share only what is needed, and only with:
- The seller fulfilling your order: your name, delivery address and contact number, so they can pack and dispatch it
- Courier and logistics partners: name, address, pincode and phone number, for delivery and for return pickups
- Payment gateways: order amount, order reference and your contact details, to process the payment or refund. They handle your card data under their own PCI-DSS certified terms
- Communication providers: phone number or email address, to send transactional SMS, email and push notifications
- Professional advisers and authorities: where disclosure is required by law, a court order, or to investigate fraud
- A successor entity: if the business is merged, acquired or sold, under the same protections set out here
4 How Long We Keep It
- Account data: for as long as your account is open, and deleted on request thereafter
- Order and invoice records: retained for 8 years, as required by Indian tax and company law, even after account closure
- Support conversations: up to 3 years, for dispute resolution
- Server and access logs: up to 180 days, for security and fraud investigation
5 How We Protect It
Traffic to and from this site is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and cannot be read by us or recovered. Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it for support or fulfilment. Payments are handled entirely by certified gateways. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection, but if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
6 Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies for two purposes:
- Essential cookies: keep you signed in and preserve your cart. The site cannot function without these
- Analytics cookies: tell us which pages are used and where errors occur, in aggregate
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop you from logging in or completing checkout.
7 Your Rights
You may ask us at any time to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your account and the data tied to it, subject to the retention periods in section 4
- Stop sending you marketing messages
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave
Write to the contact below and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request, so that nobody else can obtain your data.
8 Children's Privacy
This marketplace is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. A minor may use the service only under the supervision of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on their behalf. If you believe we hold a child's data, contact us and we will delete it.
